The covering and roof elements of “Dobeles Panelis” are in different geometric sizes and consist of foam polystyrene block in which a perforated zinc -metal profile is deposited. By using this system, it is possible to manufacture coverings even in the length of 10 m. The system of forms itself, after manufacturing the covering, stays in the construction and serves as the surface for strengthening the ceiling decoration. If the carcass block is used for the attic building then after the construction work is over it simultaneously performs the function of heat insulation. As a result, we obtain a ribbed-shape monolith reinforced concrete covering with the rib step 600 mm and the concrete sheet is usually 40-60 mm in thickness. In the roof constructions, systems of forms can be manufactured up to 20 degrees in slope.

The erection of the covering elements is very simple and it can be done manually. It is quite sufficient with two workers. After erection of the covering elements, reinforcement of the covering by bars or spatial reinforcement frames and the screen is done. After reinforcement, the covering is concreted.

In the horizontal openings of the covering elements, it is possible to place engineering utilities as well. In this system, it is not necessary to have the leveling layer for the floor. And in making the heated floors, it is not necessary to have additional heat insulation under the water pipes.

One of the greatest advantages of the given system is its comparatively small mass and the economic costs compared to other coverings from the monolith reinforced concrete.
