STAY-IN-PLACE SYSTEM OF FORMS
The system consists of four types of the constructive elements:
- The stay-in-place forms of the foundation;
- The stay-in-place forms of the walls;
- The stay-in-place forms of the intermediary storey covering and the roof;
- Partition wall panels made from foam polystyrene.
The building system of the stay-in-place system of forms
Elements of stay-in-place system of forms «Dobeles panelis» (based upon PLASTBAU® technology) serve as a high technology stay-in-place forms for the construction of buildings (also multi-storeyed) of cast reinforced concrete, at the same time the forms themselves perform the function of a bearing structure.
The structural elements of the system «Dobeles panelis» are manufactured of high density expanded polystyrene and steel reinforcement structure giving them very high resistance, and such forms are easy and fast to install. Following the concreting the interior and exterior finishings are made to the structural elements, and staying in the structure they serve as efficient heat insulation.
The main advantages of the system “Dobeles Panelis” in construction and reconstruction:
-
economy of the funds;
-
the insignificant mass of the elements allows to erect buildings with a reinforced concrete frame without using the heavy –type machinery (cranes, etc.) which essentially influence construction costs;
-
much lower labor-intensity compared to any other construction technology;
-
the system is applicable in the events when additionally a new storey is needed to be built for the existing houses, thus, updating the ageing housing fund;
-
the excellent heat insulation properties enable to do concreting works in a negative temperature without heating of concrete as well;
-
the constructive elements can be manufactured in various forms and lengths. Wherewith, wide architectural opportunities are offered when the old buildings are reconstructed and the new ones are designed;
-
the sizes of the construction site are minimized allowing to carry out the construction and reconstruction work in a densely built-up area as well.
